Senator Watson Attends Conference On AI And Healthcare

State Senator Bo Watson, a leading advocate for innovation and technology, just returned from the National Conference of State Legislatures’ (NCSL) Health Innovation Task Force meeting, which was held Dec, 12-13 in Palo Alto, California. The Health Innovation Task Force, which Senator Watson co-chairs with Rep. Andrew Takuya Garrett, Hawaii, addresses emerging opportunities and challenges in state healthcare systems, with a strong emphasis on ethical and appropriate AI implementation.

"The work we did at the conference was incredibly productive and eye-opening," said Senator Watson. "The future of AI is limitless, and its potential to reshape healthcare and beyond is truly extraordinary, but it must be viewed through the lens of protecting patients’ privacy."
