Setting the stage: Historic Tivoli Theatre reconstruction gets head start
The Tivoli Theatre Foundation held a ceremony on Tuesday for what marks the beginning of the Tivoli renovation project, a project that has been in the works since 2018.
Tennessee State Senator Bo Watson spoke at the ceremony, noting the historical architecture of Tivoli.
"Preserving a piece of our past for the benefit of our future," Watson says.
Watson said this project is also an investment in the arts.
